You might think that this essay is boring
but read it at least to find out. (But if you were reading it anyway then you
are a good person, carry on)…AND DON’T FORGET TO LEAVE YOUR VALUABLE COMMENTS
AND FEEDBACK….
Once upon a time there was a man who
never listened to news; he felt it was a waste of time. One day he decided to
eat in a restaurant. His bill was of Rs5000, but when he took out 4 notes of
1000, the waiter refused to take them. From that day onwards the man always
used to read newspapers. Can you guess why? I think all of you must have
understood why, it is because of demonetization. Now what is this all about?
Well, I’ll tell you…
Demonetization…..it is a really huge step
taken by our prime minister for the betterment of our nation on the 8 th of
November, 2016. But actually what is this “demonetization”? It is the act of
stripping a currency unit of its status as legal tender. It was an effort to
stop counterfeiting of the current banknotes allegedly used for funding
terrorism, corruption, use of drugs as well as a crack down on black money in
the country.
Let us know what our teachers and
students have to say on this:
We MCG’ns are completely in favor of this
step because first time in several years a hardworking man is trying to make
India progress forward and be successful. He has shaken up the sleeping
citizens of India. After all, any change minor or major will lead to hiccups or
ups and downs, if not the system is not working well. When questioned about the
cash shortages that had detrimental effects, we MCGians consider that every
issue has a teething problem after all even Ghandhiji the father of our nation
was criticized at first. Since long time ago Government has been requesting
everyone to have a bank account and many people who agreed are now facing fewer
problems. People who did not pay their taxes on time and were doing wrong are
the ones who should worry, not us. No one else has a problem except the people
who don’t want to change. Gossips are going around that the 2000 note will also
be stopped soon.
What do you think we all should do in such a situation”?
Our
simple reply is “use plastic money and debit cards”. Imagine the variety of
problems we face to perform in our little small projects or bigger ones like
Annual day preparations….obviously for the nation this demonetization is a very
huge project being handled efficiently by our PM in spite of zillions of small
obstacles. In fact we are looking forward to implementation of other
revolutionizing bills like BTT (Bank Transaction Tax) and GST (Goods &
Service Tax).
