Master Thinker's Column

Is tech really spoiling us?
Hey guys! Its the Master Thinker. Today, I'm talking about tech. Before I start, I have a question. Imagine you are stranded on an island, what would you want to have --- A phone or books? I guess most of you might have taken a phone. Our present-generation phone has almost everything. And though this gives us advantages, we use it wrongly. We get addicted to tech. Before you read more, just think honestly, how many hours of TV do you watch? How many hours of computer games do you play? How many hours you spend on social media? According to me, tech does spoil us. There are so many people who are addicted. They need to talk, they call. They want food, they order. Now, email-id's are mandatory. For everything, you need tech now.

Well, I've given my opinion and now its time to give your's. Do you think I'm right or not? Please give your comments and opinions below. EMPECEMOS! (Let's get started!)

MCGS  literary festival was organised by the school in March to encourage budding literary talent among the students .There were different events such as creative writing, Pictionary , Role play , Drama, Dramatic reading(Book explorer) and art. The festival was themed “English Carnival”.  It Really helped us students in enhancing the diverse thinking among us and helping to boost our creative spirit and imagination, Students from Class I-X enthusiastically participated in the event.

Students spoke impromptu in ‘Public speaking’ proving that expression of thoughts is indeed an art too, if provided with a proper platform.
Vocabulary games like ‘Pictionary’ made words fun to learn and easier to remember for other students thereby, strengthening their reading and listening abilities.
The fest thus helped children enter into the world of literary characters and thereby add a literary flavor through the different artistic presentation.
