Unlike
what I do every single time, this time I wanted to do something different. I pick
up a topic and get on a rant about it. But this time I wanted to uphold a
review. Basically, on some books I read during the holidays. To be honest I am
a much more "teenage love fantasy fan" but I also do read classics
and Sci-fi books so here are my recommendations:- (you might get them for cheap
or free with Kindle)
1. Frankenstein:-
I think most of the adults reading this would have already read about the
excruciatingly sad tale of Dr. Victor who made a Monster. I read
un abridged version by Om illustrated classics. Even though it has been so long
since it first came out. To be frank it has aged pretty well. I also found it
baffling the fact that most people just know the name but haven't read this
book. It might be a bit too harsh for the younger audience as the book deals
with depressing sentiments. So I would recommend it for a bit older audience
between the age of 11-14. I would rate this book about a 8.9/10
Pros:- Timeless classic, great story Cons
:- A little too sad
2.Time
machine:- Huh.. God! I didn’t know why I was choosing devilishly depressing
books before , but none the good ones like this . I chose this book by mistake.
I started looking for a wimpy kid book. I by mistake took this one for rent and
there I was during the weekend sitting alone in my study for a good time with a
wimpy kid book , and I open the bag and I get this. Having no option I read it
and for the next two hours I enjoyed reading it and dwelled deep down into the
life of The time traveler who believes he has made a time machine. . So I wouldn't spoil anything about this book. It was
simply Ineffable. I would give it about a 10/10
