My First Day Of School
I've
got a brand-new lunchbox.
My
shoes are shiny clean.
I've
got a cool, new bookbag
And
a pencil box that's green.
But
I don't know my teacher,
Or
where my desk will be.
I
don't know if I'll like the kids.
Or
if they'll play with me.
I
peek inside my classroom.
I
stand there for a while.
My
teacher tall and kind of loud,
But
has a great big smile.
And,
beast of all, she's got my
Favourite
book upon the shelf!
I
kiss my mother at the door
And
walk in by myself.

A POEM ON MY SCHOOL
MY SCHOOL DAYS
When I hung my bag on my back.
When I walked on the fresh sand through the
playground.
When I held my horse for the
teacher to enter and teach
When I tried to bare the boring
period and make the interesting
When I tried to perform my best
When I and my friends
went
together for sports chating.
sharing and caring.
When I went back from the
school to the place from where
I came.

MY SCHOOL DAYS
Seeing the teacher so firm
from the window
glass.
Just when I hoped this day of fear would pass,
The teacher said ‘Children
lets go play
in the grass’.
Meeting new people just sitting on the bench
Called them friends
because they never made me
flinch.
Shared secrets in every
hour of lunch
Had fights starting with a hard punch.
Alphabets to Algebra , learning them with a craze
Doing homework just to
earn teacher’s praise
Building myself to set future in good
ways,
I cherish every moment because
they are never
coming back school days
