A POEM ON MY SCHOOL

MY SCHOOL DAYS

My school days were those ,

When I hung my bag on my back.                   

When I waited for my bus in the crawling sunlight.                                    

When I walked on the fresh sand through the playground.

When I touched the smooth chalk for the boardwork.

When I held my horse for the

teacher to enter and teach

something new.

When I tried to bare the boring

period and make the interesting

period more interesting.

When I tried to perform my best

leaving all during the exams.

When I and my friends went       

together for sports chating.

When I had my lunch all by

sharing and caring.

When I went back from the

school to the place from where

I came.

THE MOST MEMORABLE DAYS WERE MY SCHOOL DAYS!!

MY SCHOOL DAYS

Letting  go  my  mother’s  hand  I  walked  into  the  class,

Seeing  the  teacher  so  firm  from  the  window  glass.

Just  when  I  hoped  this  day  of  fear  would   pass,

The  teacher  said  ‘Children  lets  go  play  in  the  grass’.

Meeting  new  people  just  sitting  on  the  bench

Called  them  friends  because  they  never  made  me  flinch.

Shared  secrets  in  every  hour  of  lunch

Had  fights  starting  with  a  hard  punch.

Alphabets  to  Algebra , learning  them  with  a  craze

Doing  homework  just  to  earn  teacher’s  praise

Building  myself  to  set  future  in  good  ways,

I  cherish  every  moment  because  they  are  never  coming  back  school   days
